2014 Show Results

We didn't show much this year, but when we did we had some good results:

May 2014 - Elvis is placed 2nd in Open Dog and is then awarded the Reserve Dog Challenge Certificate by breed specialist Gillian Craven (Hespa) at the Southern Rhodesian Ridgeback Association Championship show. Sookie then wins a large mid-limit class.

May 2014 - SKC Championship show, Fonz wins Limit and gains his Stud book number, he is then placed VHC in the Open class behind his Dad Elvis who is placed 3rd. Sookie then wins a large limit bitch class, and her half sister Jolene is placed 2nd in the same class - what a great day. Thanks to overseas judge,breed specialist Mrs D. Kenis-Pordham.

August 2014 - Hound Association Championship Show. Elvis was not entered in the breed classes as he had previously won under the judge, instead he did the stakes and won £50 in the Good Citizen Dog Scheme stakes under judge Martin Saunders. In the breed Elvis' daughters Jolene and Sookie were 1st and 2nd respectively in the Limit Class, and Jolene's sister Iris also won her class Post Graduate. As Kate could only handle one in the challenge I stepped in to take Jolene round. What a lovely surprise to then be awarded the bitch Challenge Certificate with Jolene - Kamili Comes and Goes JW, which was her second CC. A massive thank you to breed specialist Gillian Mitchelson (Voortrekker) for a fabulous day!

August 2014 - News just in that Jolene, Kamili Comes and Goes JW has been awarded her 3rd and crowning CC at Bournemouth Champ show, making her a UK Champion! Thanks to breed specialist Gillian Hutcheson (Gabisa) for thinking so highly of Elvis' daughter!

August 2014 - SKC Championship show. Fonz wins Post Graduate Dog under Mr S Holbrook.

November 2014 - RRCS Championship show. Fonz is placed 2nd in Post Graduate Dog and receives a nice write up. Elvis wins Open dog, Veteran dog, Dog Challenge Certificate, Best Veteran and Best in Show! What a great day! Thanks to our judge, all rounder Mr Moray Armstrong.

December 2014 - Elvis is placed 2nd in Open Dog and is awarded the Reserve CC under breed specialist Sue Campbell (Nyassa). His Daughter Jolene then wins the Bitch CC and Best of Breed. Great day!
